Venue: Aetas Lumpini Hotel
Venue: Aetas Lumpini Hotel
The 1st Rural Development Conference (RDC2015) was held from 13–15 March 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand, at the AETAS Lumpini Hotel.
RDC2015 launched the Rural Development Conference series, bringing together researchers, development practitioners, policy-makers, civil-society representatives and other stakeholders interested in sustainable rural development, agriculture, and community resilience. Over the course of the conference, participants exchanged research findings, shared country-level case studies, and discussed policies and strategies to support rural livelihoods and long-term sustainability.
As the inaugural edition, RDC2015 set the tone for future editions of the conference — establishing a platform for global dialogue, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical engagement around rural development challenges.
