The 4th Rural Development Conference (RDC2018) took place from 19–21 July 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand, at the AETAS Lumpini Hotel.
RDC2018 brought together an international community of researchers, development practitioners, policymakers, civil society representatives, and stakeholders interested in sustainable rural development, agriculture, environment, and related challenges. Over several days, attendees shared empirical studies, policy insights, and case studies from various countries — contributing to global discourse on rural livelihoods, sustainable agriculture, and community resilience.
RDC2018 reaffirmed the conference’s mission to provide a global, inclusive, and interdisciplinary platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action around rural development and sustainable futures.
